Description
Hand carved by master silversmith Alex Nathan ONZM, these sterling silver drop earrings showcase the overlay technique he is renowned for — two layers of silver, with the upper layer pierced and carved so the design sits in sculptural relief against the layer beneath.
Flowing koru forms spiral through each earring, catching light and shadow across the carved surfaces. Every curve is cut by hand, giving the pair a depth and liveliness that machine-made jewellery cannot replicate.
Finished on sterling silver hooks, they are substantial enough to make a statement yet light enough for everyday wear.
